I'm in my thirteenth year as Director of Music at the Unitarian
Universalist Church of Greater Lansing, where I direct the Adult Choir
and coordinate music for the church community.
All are welcome in the UU choir - no previous choral singing experience is required. We rehearse every Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:30, and sing in services most Sundays between September 1 and June 30. We alternate between the 9:15 service and the 11:15 service, and occasionally sing in both.
The choir sings in a wide range of styles and genres, both secular and sacred.
Each year since its inception in 2003, I have directed a Festival Choir at the Mid-Winter Singing Festival in East Lansing. Come to a Saturday afternoon workshop where we learn one or two songs together; we'll perform them that evening on-stage at the Hannah Community Center before an audience of people who love to sing! Next year's festival takes place on February 1-2, 2008.

...and here we are on stage!
